Dear Blessed Sacrament School Community:
I am certain you have heard the RI. Dept. of Health, and the Governor's directive that all schools will close in the State next week. We will comply with that directive and the school building
will be closed next week. The good news is our teachers have been preparing for this possibility for several days, and our
Distance Learning Plan will begin on Tuesday, March 17th. Some teachers will be using digital platforms to facilitate learning, and others will be sending home work for the students to complete. The teachers will be monitoring their email addresses, or digital accounts, during the school day to answer any questions your student(s) may have. Many of the students already have their digital log-in information and most brought home textbooks and other classroom necessities this afternoon.
Please know that the school building will be closed next week, but school will continue. The school office will be open on a daily basis, so please feel free to call us if there are any class materials you need to pickup, or assignments to hand in. We are all in this together and with your help we can all keep our students learning, and keep our community safe from this virus.
Thankfully, because our teachers have been preparing for this, there are no plans to move our Spring Break in April. Spring Break will remain April 20th-24th.
God Bless,
Mr. Weber, Principal
Blessed Sacrament School
